Speak Up & Vote wants to thank everyone who commented on or liked our posts, shared our content or videos, and engaged in our conversations about registering to vote or early voting. Also, thank you to our team who spent countless hours grinding the voter registrations out.
Thank you to the politicians and clergy members who stepped up and encouraged people to get out and vote at our press conference. We want to thank All Nations Church for allowing us to use their bus, our Freedom Ride bus, as a caravan around the community to get people out to vote, and David White Photography for the Freedom Ride Bus photos. Also, another big thank you to our families and friends who stepped up at the last minute to assist wherever possible.
Finally, thanks to all the new voters who are stepping up this year and to those who were already registered but haven’t voted in years. We’re grateful that you decided to exercise your civic duty! We are what democracy looks like!
